REGIONAL/NATIONAL CONFERENCE2
🌐 IRCITE 2025 – International Research Conference on IT Education
I. 📍 Event Details
Seminar Topic:
“Empower, Collaborate, Excel: Advancing Excellence and Inclusivity in IT Education for a Digital Future”
Date: April 4, 2025
Venue: Bulacan State University, Malolos City, Bulacan
Audience: Students, Teachers, and Professionals
🎯 Objective:
To highlight groundbreaking research and inclusive approaches in IT education through both oral and poster presentations. The conference encouraged collaboration, promoted excellence, and aimed to shape the future of digital learning.
II. 📚 Reflections and Learnings
Our main objective was to present a poster of our developed project—a vital opportunity to showcase our ideas and efforts. But beyond our presentation, I gained so much more by attending seminars that shared future-forward insights.
One session stood out: a Software Engineer from Canva discussed the evolving influence of AI in the computing industry. The focus was on a fascinating concept called "Vibe Coding"—a coding approach shaped by AI assistance. The topic sparked lively discussions about whether such approaches empower or hinder developers. It was eye-opening and made me reflect deeply on how AI might reshape the future of software development—for better or worse.
Overall, the conference wasn’t just a platform to present—it was a space of learning and reflection that enriched my understanding of AI's growing role in IT education and practice.
III. 🛠 Practical Applications of Learning
The discussions on AI and "Vibe Coding" had immediate practical relevance:
- Automation: I can use AI tools to automate repetitive coding tasks, improving development speed and efficiency.
- Innovation with Responsibility: Integrating AI into future projects will require not just technical know-how but a keen awareness of ethical implications.
- Continuous Learning: The seminar emphasized staying current with emerging technologies—an important reminder to stay adaptable in a rapidly evolving field.
IV. 🌟 Positive Feedback
The conference was impressively well-organized. Everything ran smoothly—from transitions between sessions to interactive segments like raffles and performances. The seamless coordination and thoughtful structure made it easy to stay engaged and focused. The diversity of topics and presenters created a vibrant and enjoyable experience that left a lasting impression.
V. 💡 Suggestions for Improvement
While the event was well-executed, a few improvements could enhance future conferences:
- Venue Setup: Completing the setup earlier would help avoid delays during the schedule.
- Comfort: Improving venue ventilation—either through fans or air conditioning—would create a more comfortable experience for attendees.
✍️ Final Thoughts
IRCITE 2025 gave me a deeper appreciation of how education, research, and technology intersect. It opened my eyes to how innovations like AI are not just reshaping tech—but also the way we learn, teach, and collaborate. I’m grateful to have taken part in this experience and excited to apply what I’ve learned to future academic and professional endeavors.
